Teldian Launches Virtual Power Plant Platform, Aiming to Leverage Charging Networks to Efficiently Support Grid Peak-Shaving.
On October 29, the TELD 2022 New Technology and Product Launch Event for Charging Networks was held in Qingdao. The event featured the sequential unveiling of one major platform—the TELD Virtual Power Plant Platform—and three innovative products: the charging-type microgrid solution, the advanced technology product for cascade battery energy storage, and the "Te Hui Chong" residential station innovation. Among these, the two key projects—"Optimized Control and System Integration of AC/DC Hybrid Microgrids with Proactive Support for Electric Vehicles" and "Cascade Battery Energy Storage Systems and Innovative Technologies"—were officially recognized by experts as reaching international advanced levels. The TELD Virtual Power Plant Platform, built around the integrated framework of "charging networks, microgrids, and energy storage networks," was officially launched. This platform leverages aggregated resources such as orderly EV charging, photovoltaic microgrids, mobile energy storage units, and cascade energy storage systems, enabling functions like frequency and peak-shaving control, demand-side response, aggregated power sales, green energy consumption, and carbon trading.

In December, China's thermal power generation reached 554.95 billion kilowatt-hours, representing a year-on-year increase of 1.3%.
Recently, the National Bureau of Statistics' National Data Website released data, compiled by Cable Network. In December 2022, China's thermal power generation—defined hereafter as "thermal power output"—reached 554.95 billion kilowatt-hours, representing a year-on-year increase of 1.3%. By region, the thermal power output across China's six major conventional areas, ranked from highest to lowest, was as follows: East China: 175.19 billion kWh; North China: 117.99 billion kWh; Central-South China: 103.55 billion kWh; Northwest China: 89.7 billion kWh; Southwest China: 39.63 billion kWh; and Northeast China: 28.89 billion kWh.
National Energy Administration: Standardizing the Use of Forest Land for Photovoltaic and Wind Power Projects
In its response to the "Proposal on Strengthening Support for New Energy Development in Shanxi," the National Energy Administration noted that, to balance the development and construction of photovoltaic and wind power projects with the protection of forest resources—and to promote the sustained, healthy growth of these renewable energy sectors while ensuring the proper use of forest land—China's National Forestry and Grassland Administration has successively issued two key documents: the "Notice from the State Forestry Administration on Issues Related to the Use of Forest Land for Photovoltaic Power Station Construction" (Lin Zi Fa [2015] No. 153) and the "Notice from the National Forestry and Grassland Administration on Standardizing the Use of Forest Land for Wind Farm Projects" (Lin Zi Fa [2019] No. 17). These guidelines adhere to the principles of prioritizing ecology, safeguarding nature, and promoting the efficient and economical use of forest land, while also emphasizing rational planning and layout, and clearly delineating prohibited and restricted areas for photovoltaic and wind power development.
